Free-journal.com - With the release of this number, the Chilean Journal of Visual Anthropology turns 14 years of continuous work, largely the result of efforts of those who are part of this project, and indeed, that broad Latino community publishing with us and read / looks at us. In this regard, we note that the next edition contains articles from Peru, Argentina, Mexico and Chile, which allows setting up a regional overview of the field of visual studies, and also from various disciplinary perspectives, consolidating our magazine as a space for meetings.

We started the articles section to the work of Alonso Quinteros, which is shown as a group of Peruvian documentary addressing the image of Andean migrants in relation to the social imaginary of the entrepreneur who has an interesting reflection on the construction of the national from the audiovisual. The second article in this issue was made by Alvaro Martel and Silvia Giraudo, where rock art approaches on late northeastern Argentina are established, in which a semiotic analysis-based on Peirce developed to corroborate the hypothesis that the images contain enough to understand the collective modes of thinking about the world and also the reflection of social struggle for power in cultures today missing information. Then we have the work of Orlando Gabriel Morales, who presents the results of an interesting study in which law enforcement officials in the province Buenos Aires, performing drawn representations of Africans and African descent migrants then develop an analysis was requested linguistic and demonstrate the presence of exoticizing elements in their imaginary. The fourth article was written by Beatriz Sanchez, who performs an analysis to the work of visual artist Jorge Oyarzun, from the concept of mestizaje, sliding on his research and analysis aesthetic elements of the body. For its part, the fifth work of this issue presents the results of research conducted by the team of Dr. Mariel Lopez (the Institute of Archaeology at the University of Buenos Aires), who along with Valeria Díaz, María Alejandra Lanza and Maria Marcos discuss photographic and film survey recorded and the development of a methodology of work on the images obtained in the field, discussing the value of the digital treatment of the latter in the study of the archaeological site Narrow Ocumazo in Jujuy (Argentina ).

Free-journal.com - Antipode is indexed, quarterly magazine of the Department of Anthropology at the University of the Andes (Colombia, South America) dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of anthropological knowledge, and critical analysis of socio-cultural, methodological and theoretical relevant to understanding the problems topics human.

Antipode forms an open, critical and pluralistic forum where articles and papers that allow further discussions in the various subfields of anthropological knowledge and other related disciplines in the social and human sciences are published. The criteria for publishing work is its intellectual quality and relevance, and its contribution to the debates on national and international academic community. Those responsible publishers Antípoda guarantee a serious and professional evaluation of all materials submitted to it by peers recognized intellectual, academic and ethical soundness. Besides having a Latin American approach, Antípoda has a special interest in disseminating the experiences and results of anthropological studies and social research world anthropologies.

Free-journal.com - The Association AIBR (Antropólogos Iberoamericanos en Red) started in 1996 with all the creation of El Rincón del Antropólogo (The Anthropologist Corner), a website that became among the first online social networks of anthropologists within the Spanish-speaking world.

Our Association happens to be formed by 523 individual members, and 9 institutional members. At this moment the AIBR Social Network connects over 7. 500 anthropologists. This growth has helped us to consolidate an independent and financially self sustainable organization.

In November 2002 the Association was registered in Spain as being a nonprofit organization. Since 2002, AIBR has also been publishing the scientific journal AIBR. Revista de Antropología Iberoamericana (Journal of Iberoamerican Anthropology). The journal releases a fresh issue every four months, both in electronic and paper format.

The journal were published since 1996 by RAIES, underneath the subtitle " Revista de Rede de Avaliação da Educação Superior ", and from 2007, in partnership with Uniso, the subtitle was altered to " Revista da Avaliação da Educação Superior ".

Free-Journal.com - The scientific library - SciELO Chile, is an electronic library that includes a selected collection of Chilean scientific journals in all areas of knowledge.

This regional project is being developed in Chile by the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT).

The SciELO project is an initiative of FAPESP (Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo) and BIREME (Latin American and Caribbean Center on Health Sciences Information). Since 2002, the project has the support of CNPq - National Council for Scientific and Technological Development.

The project aims to develop a common methodology for the preparation, storage, dissemination and evaluation of scientific literature in electronic format.

Currently participating in the network SciELO eight countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Portugal and Venezuela and sites SciELO Social Sciences and Public Health. There are initiatives underway in five other countries: Costa Rica, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay.

Free-Journal.com - This paper's main objective is to analyze the different syntactic behavior and pragmatic subject personal pronoun in English and Spanish. We observed the difficulty of English-speaking learners of Spanish as a second language at the time of purchase foreign to them as is the null subject parameter. The presence versi absence, the subject pronoun in speaking in Spanish can, in many cases, obey reasons of emphasis by the speaker. Understanding the syntactic-discursive phenomenon is a key to work on acquiring the parameter requirement. The handling of this issue is essential to design appropriate learning resources and thus alleviate problems identified in the interlanguage of the student. These resources are adequate at all levels of reference, as recommended by the Common European Frame-work of Reference and the Instituto Cervantes Curriculum.
